Aviva Investors, the global asset management business of London-headquartered insurer Aviva PLC, has appointed Fabrice Pellous as co-head of global high yield.
Pellous will work alongside Sunita Kara, co-head of global high yield, to lead the firm’s high yield team and will report directly to Fraser Lundie, global head of fixed income.
Based in London, Pellous’s appointment represents a further addition to the firm’s fixed income team, following the announcement of Lundie’s hire back in May 2024, as well as that of Gita Bal as head of fixed income research earlier this month.
Pellous has over 25 years of investment industry experience, most recently working as a high yield and emerging market portfolio manager at Invesco, where he spent over a decade of his career. He has also held various roles at Legal & General, AllianceBernstein, and AXA Investment Management, among others.
While his past roles have predominantly been within the high yield space, Pellous also has experience working across investment grade and emerging markets teams, and as such is considered well-placed to contribute across the broader fixed income team, the firm says in a statement.
